Flooding on 16th

After over 100mm (4”) of rain in less than 48 hours, we have experienced extensive flooding on holes 15 & 16 at Murrayfield.

We have pumped over 200,000 gallons of water from the 16^th fairway in the last few days and although the water level has dropped, it may be a few more days before the 16^th hole is completely clear.

For those members that haven’t played the course since last week, I have posted a picture from Friday morning (August 12^th) at 6.00am.
