I am delighted to report that the
first phase of works on hole 15 has now been completed. A new fairway bunker at
245/50 yards on the right-hand side of the fairway has been constructed and turf
laid on the surrounding area.

The left-hand side greenside
bunker has also been rebuilt and it’s base lowered by 200mm.
New drainage has been installed
in all three bunkers, above the new mounding and on the perimeter of the green.
We have also installed additional drainage lines on the left-hand approach to
the cross bunker.
New irrigation sprinklers have
been installed and re-positioned on the perimeter and approach to the green.

Phase 2 will include lining the
bases of the bunkers and adding sand. Additional drainage and repair work below
the approach to the new cross bunker will also be undertaken and the existing left
hand side fairway bunker removed.
Finally, I would like to take
this opportunity to thank all the greens staff for a tremendous effort in
completing the first phase works on hole 15 and to such a high standard,
despite at times, some challenging weather and ground conditions.
I will update member shortly on
the progress on hole 10.
