Drainage 16th Hole - Update

The drainage contractors have now completed excavation works on the new drainage outlet from the 16^th fairway.

The final section of pipework has now been lowered into position and at long last drainage water is now flowing freely away from the 16^th fairway.

In the picture below you can see clearly see stagnant water flowing from the old mains pipework, indicating that the old mains pipe has had a restricted flow, probably  for a number of years.
